It was about this time last year when I first reported about Dr. John Simon’s plans to develop a $30 million health campus near St. Joseph’s Westgate Medical Center in Glendale.
The project broke ground on March 10, 2016, starting with a 16,000-square-foot medical office condo project, which is expected to be completed this fall.
The 200,000-square-foot campus will offer a full continuum of care through partnerships with health care providers, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, physician groups, education and research institutions. In addition to the medical office condos, the master-planned community is expected to encompass community medicine, surgery centers, long-term care operators and skilled nursing.
Simon’s group, called 101 Healthcare LLC, hired Butler Design Group as the architect and Kitchell as general contractor.
