Kathleen “Katie” Pushor
President & CEO Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce

Katie Pushor assumed the role of president and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of
Commerce in January 2006.

The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce was established in 1888 and represents
more than 3,400 companies. It is Arizona’s oldest and largest chamber with affiliations
and alliances that include: the Chamber of Commerce at Anthem, Greater Phoenix Black
Chamber of Commerce and the South Mountain/Laveen Chamber of Commerce. The
Chamber supports the growth and development of business and the quality of life in the
communities we serve, champions the voice of business in government, and keeps
members informed, connected and prosperous.

Prior to taking on this leadership position for the business community, Pushor worked
and lived in the Valley for over twenty-five years. In March 2003, she was appointed by
Gov. Janet Napolitano to serve as the Executive Director for the Arizona Lottery, a 110-
employee agency which generated gross annual revenues in excess of $390 million. She
oversaw all facets of Lottery operations and reported directly to the governor as a
member of the Cabinet.

Pushor spent ten years with MicroAge, Inc. serving as Executive Vice President and
Chief Marketing Officer; and 10 years with Coopers & Lybrand – now known as
PricewaterhouseCoopers-- as Director of Personnel, Finance and Administration in the
company’s Phoenix and Indianapolis offices.

Pushor has long played an active role in the local business community, and currently sits
on the board of Insight, Inc. and chairs the non-profit organization Alliance for Audience.
She has also served on the national board of directors for Leadership America, a
nationwide organization of women who lead.

Pushor is an accomplished author and frequent speaker on leadership and corporate
governance. She recently co-authored the book, Into the Boardroom: How to Get Your
First Seat on a Corporate Board, and has been recognized in publications such as
Computer Reseller News, the Phoenix Business Journal and AzBusiness.
Graduating cum laude, Pushor received a Bachelor of Science in business and accounting
from the University of Colorado. She and her husband of 27 years live with their four
children in Scottsdale, Arizona.
