A U.S. Environmental Protection Agency program designed for
small businesses, Energy Star Small Business helps companies
regain profits by reducing energy costs. On the program Web
site, find small business success stories, unbiased
technical information, and online forms for e-mail responses
to your questions and to subscribe to a free monthly
e-newsletter. Online tools include an energy check-up for
businesses, fact sheets on energy, and calculators that
allow businesses to determine economic pay back and
environmental contribution with Energy Star products. The
downloadable small-business guide "Putting Energy into
Profits" (PDF)
provides a very useful primer on the impact of energy
efficiency on the bottom line.
