Impact Awards

For more than 20 years, the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce has honored the accomplishments of small businesses and the impact they’ve made on the greater Phoenix business community. This annual event recognizes enterprising small business owners who have made an impact through community, innovation, or response to adversity. The 2008 Small Business of the Year is also recognized at the annual luncheon. The ten award finalists are featured in a special supplement in The Business Journal and have video presentations created for them to be featured at the luncheon. Past finalists and recipients have prospered greatly from the exposure they have received through this program.

Nominations are accepted December – January.
Event Date: May 7, 2008 21st Annual Impact Awards

ATHENA Awards Luncheon

Join the Greater Phoenix Chamber as we celebrate the Annual ATHENA award and honor Valley Businesswomen for their excellence in business and leadership, exemplary community service and their support and mentorship of other women. The women honored are ten very deserving finalists who have not only excelled in their careers, but make an incredible mark on the community where they live. At the annual event two finalists will receive the ATHENA Businesswoman of the Year Award and one finalist will receive the ATHENA Young Professional Award.

The event also includes a Community Action Expo which showcases more than a dozen charities. Hearing the motivational stories of the ten businesswomen creates a spirit that helps motivate all in attendance to go out and make a difference.
