Join the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce and the Maricopa Association of Governments as we gather the Valley’s leading voices and discuss pathways for the business and education communities to work together to strengthen and grow our economy.
As Arizona’s economy continues to grow, the business community has identified a common theme: Arizona needs a qualified workforce that is prepared to handle the challenges and opportunities facing our great businesses. In the coming years, developing a diverse workforce through multiple pathways—including career and technical education (CTE) programs—will be critical in increasing Arizona’s global competitiveness.
Keynote Speaker will be Bill Symonds, director of the Global Pathways Institute and professor of practice at Arizona State University. The Global Pathways Institute was created in 2014 to help lead a national movement to find effective solutions to our national failure to prepare many young people to lead successful lives.
The event will also include a distinguished panel of experts:
- Mike Eilola, Vice President of Americas for Aerospace Integrated Supply Chain, Honeywell
- Mike Romano, UTI-Avondale Campus President, Universal Technical Institute
- Diane McCarthy, Director of Business Partnerships and Legislative Affairs, West-MEC
- Dede Schmallen, Associate Vice President of Organization Development, HonorHealth
