The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce appointed Quarles & Brady LLP Partner Kevin Quigley as general counsel. In his role, Quigley will assist the Chamber with governance and other legal compliance matters. He will also continue to sit on the organization’s board of directors.
Quigley is a member of the Quarles & Brady’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group. His litigation practice has an emphasis in consumer lending, property disputes, defamation, and contract and lease disputes.
Quigley also represents direct sales and multilevel marketing clients to ensure compliance with state and federal law. He also represents direct selling companies in Federal Trade Commission enforcement actions, internet direct sales companies in internet defamation lawsuits, financial services companies in mortgage disputes, and consumer financial services companies involving FCRA, FDCPA and state law claims.
Within the community, Quigley currently serves on the board of directors for both the Maricopa County Justice Museum & Learning Center Foundation and Community Legal Services, respectively and is a past president of the Maricopa County Bar Association as well as a founding board member of the Arizona Celtic Bar Association. Quigley is Martindale-Hubbell AV Peer Review Rated and has been selected for inclusion in the Southwest Super Lawyers list annually since 2010.
Quigley earned his law degree, magna cum laude, from the Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, and his bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Arizona.
