The Greater Phoenix Chamber supports equality and inclusivity in our city, our region, and our country. In light of recent events, the Chamber is evaluating how this organization can best support Arizona’s Black business owners and the Black community at large while respecting and elevating those leaders already doing work in this arena.

Additionally, the Chamber is committed to working with community leaders to ensure that every Arizona business has access to quality diversity and inclusion training programs to help them better support the Black community and educate their employees.

“The senseless death of George Floyd and the events that have unfolded during the last several days speaks to a larger truth about America today,” said Todd Sanders, President and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Chamber.  “Our country stands at a crossroads between the ideals set forth in our Declaration of Independence and the everyday reality of racism and discrimination for millions of our Black men and women. It is time for us to stop admiring the problem and start acting upon what is right.  By listening, learning, and taking thoughtful action, we can foster the inclusivity, equality, and economic prosperity that all Americans deserve.”
