PHOENIX, Ariz. and Santa Fe, NM (June 4, 2024) – Gallagher & Kennedy is pleased to welcome Jonathan W. Litster to its Phoenix office. Jonathan brings a wealth of experience in high-stakes civil litigation, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death cases. His dedication to advocating for individuals both inside and outside the courtroom makes him a formidable advocate for plaintiffs in a broad range of tort litigation areas, including significant personal injury, insurance bad faith, and professional malpractice.
Jonathan earned his law degree from the University of Idaho College of Law, graduating Dean’s List and representing the College at the Peggy Browning Fund Workers’ Rights Conference in Baltimore, Maryland. Additionally, he advocated for survivors of domestic and sexual violence at the University of Idaho Family Justice Clinic and externed with the James A. & Louise McClure Center for Public Policy Research.
During law school, he served as a judicial extern for the Honorable United States District Court Chief Judge David C. Nye and the Honorable Justice Joel D. Horton at the Idaho Supreme Court and worked as a Deputy Criminal Prosecutor for Ada County in Boise. Jonathan is admitted to practice in Arizona and Idaho.
Jonathan’s professional recognitions include The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40, Southwest Super Lawyers Rising Star in Civil Litigation (2023, 2024), and Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch for Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice Litigation (2023, 2024).
