The Young Lawyers Division (YLD) of the State Bar of Arizona is a dynamic organization aimed at engaging newer members in Bar activities and the legal profession. Its goals include stimulating interest in the Bar, encouraging the exchange of ideas on legal issues, and providing avenues for newer members to improve justice administration and promote public welfare.
The Environmental & Natural Resource Law Section of the State Bar of Arizona is a vibrant community dedicated to advancing knowledge and fostering dialogue in the field of environmental and natural resource law. The section achieves this through regular meetings, conferences, and seminars; the publication of newsletters, articles, and other materials; and by providing speakers for interested professional groups.
While it serves as a neutral forum for discussion and education, the section does not take positions on political, legislative, or adjudicative matters.
Sarah Myers focuses her practice primarily in the areas of environmental law and policy and bankruptcy and creditors’ rights. In her environmental practice, Sarah handles matters involving mining claims, mineral lease agreements, water quality, remediation, permitting, and other environmental issues.
She is a member of the State Bar of Arizona’s Young Lawyers Division, as well as the Bar’s Environmental & Natural Resources Section and the Real Estate Section, and has been recognized by the 2024 and 2025 Best Lawyers in America Ones to Watch for Environmental Law.
