Member Spotlight: Erik Fink and Hyatt Regency Phoenix

With over 25 years in the hotel industry and two decades dedicated to Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, I bring a wealth of experience, passion, and adaptability to the ever evolving world of hospitality. As a seasoned leader, I have worked across a wide variety of Hyatt properties, ranging from luxury lifestyle properties, expansive resort destinations, to large group/convention city hotels.  

This journey through my hospitality career, which began as a Front Office Host, has taken me to some amazing locations such as Scottsdale AZ, Huntington Beach CA, Newport Beach CA, Austin TX, San Diego CA, Boston MA, Napa CA, and has now landed me here, serving as General Manager at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix. 

I am excited to lead a dynamic team through a challenging time within our industry. These last 5 years have reminded us of the importance of being able to adapt to change and stay rooted in our core values.  From navigating post-pandemic recovery to addressing labor shortages and evolving guest expectations, we remain focused on innovation, agile ways of working, and community connection. To meet these challenges head-on, we have embraced a number of forward-thinking strategies. From curating unique guest experiences, to launching recruitment initiatives that focus on career growth and workplace culture, the Hyatt Regency Phoenix is committed to challenging the status quo and doing things differently. Our goal is to maintain the highest of standards in service but also become a proud contributor to the local economy and community efforts. Whether hosting business travelers, leisure guests, or major city-wide events, we want to be known as a cornerstone of hospitality within the region.
