Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is considered the economic engine of the state, and it’s also an innovative place to conduct business.
America’s Friendliest Airport® has a proud history of recognition for its business successes and innovations. We’ve received Airport of the Year from the Airport Minority Advisory Council in 2024 for our contributions toward Disadvantaged Business Enterprise and Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goals. PHX was also awarded a Business Excellence Award from the Tempe Chamber of Commerce and Employer of the Year recognition from Women in Transportation.
Not surprisingly, people have wanted to learn more from us about how to do business with the Phoenix Airport System. We have conducted outreach efforts like Business Information Meetings, quarterly Business Education Series events, and most prominently, the annual Aviation Business Summit.
The City of Phoenix Aviation Department invites interested businesspeople and entrepreneurs to the eighth Aviation Business Summit on March 10, 2026. This dynamic event offers valuable insights into how to do business with Phoenix Sky Harbor, Deer Valley, and Goodyear airports.
Previous workshop topics have covered information on the city’s procurement process, the security and badging process, upcoming opportunities, and much more. Many exhibitor booths will be on hand. This event has grown each year, and participants have applauded the informational sessions, expert panels, and important networking opportunities that are offered to help them connect, learn, and grow.
This free event gives attendees the chance to:
- Learn how to do business with our airports;
- Network with staff, community agencies, and fellow businesses;
- Attend sessions packed with tools, insights, and resources.
The Aviation Business Summit is a free event and will be hosted at Warehouse 215 in Phoenix. Event registration closes at noon on March 6, 2026, or once capacity is reached. For more information and to get registered please visit https://registration.socio.events/e/bizsummit2026.
