Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is now offering Early Bag Check, a free service designed to make travel more convenient for domestic passengers flying with select airlines.
Passengers can check their bags before arriving at the terminal at two locations: the Rental Car Center and East Economy Parking. Travelers can drop off luggage after returning rental car or before parking.
Early Bag Check is available for passengers flying domestically on Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Frontier Airlines, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines. The counters are open daily from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., including holidays. Early Bag Check is designed to reduce the hassle of carrying heavy bags before reaching the terminal and to save time by skipping airline ticket counter lines.
