The Greater Phoenix Chamber is accepting applications for its Valley Young Professionals (VYP) Board of Directors. Applications will be open beginning Monday, April 1st, and are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 12th.
The VYP Board consists of young professionals between the ages of 25 to 39 who are passionate about community engagement and are actively participating with the Chamber or VYP program.
The VYP program cultivates the future leaders of Phoenix by providing essential knowledge on key local issues. Through monthly meetings, VYP facilitates connections among entrepreneurs and business professionals, offering a credible network to support their ongoing professional growth and development.
Applicants selected to serve on the Board will be responsible for guiding the direction of VYP programming, including identifying relevant content, timely speakers, and new event venues. Those selected will utilize their personal and professional relationships to help promote both the work of VYP and the Chamber. You must be a current Greater Phoenix Chamber or VYP member to serve on the VYP Board. Those who are not Chamber or VYP members are invited to inquire about membership to become eligible.
Board members will serve an initial two-year term, with the option to renew for an additional two years thereafter. Interested applicants can download an application here.
Application packets are due Friday, April 12th by 5 p.m.
