Congratulations to the 2021 IMPACT Awards Recipients!

Since 1987, the Greater Phoenix Chamber has honored the accomplishments of businesses and the impact they make on the Greater Phoenix business community. The Chamber looks for companies with a strong footprint in the Valley that deserve special recognition.

The Chamber recognized two businesses—one with 250 employees or fewer and one with more than 250 employees—in four categories. In total, eight companies are named IMPACT Award recipients.

Boys and Girls Club of the Valley and the Arizona Technology Council have been named the large and small/medium Businesses of the Year by the Greater Phoenix Chamber during the 34th Annual IMPACT Awards held virtually on Thursday, May 13, 2021.

Large Business of the Year: Boys and Girls Club of the Valley

“On behalf of the Boys and Girls Club of the Valley, hundreds of employees, Board of Directors, and 17,000 youth we thank the Greater Phoenix Chamber for this incredible honor. It means so much to have your support.  The work you do on our behalf is tremendous and we couldn’t do it without you! Thank you!” – Marcia Mintz, CEO, Boys and Girls Club of the Valley

Small/Medium Business of the Year: Arizona Technology Council

“I think this is one of the most important awards the Arizona Technology Council has ever won. It has to do with the impact we are making in Arizona’s tech ecosystem and the innovative companies and technology leaders we represent in the community. I’m proud that the tech community stepped up last year during the pandemic to provide masks, PPE and crucial services that people needed in a challenging and difficult time. We couldn’t be more humbled and honored to receive this award from the Greater Phoenix Chamber.” –Steven G. Zylstra, President and CEO, Arizona Technology Council

The two companies were selected out of eight local companies which are recipients of the Chamber’s IMPACT Awards, honoring the accomplishments of small and large Valley businesses and the positive influences they have on the business community and economy.
