The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for its Valley Young Professionals (VYP) Board of Directors. Applications will be available beginning Tuesday, April 4 and are due by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18. The VYP Board comprises of young professionals between the ages of 25 and 39 who are passionate about community involvement and are actively involved with the Chamber or the Chamber’s Valley Young Professionals group.
The VYP program is designed to create the next generation of Phoenix leaders by informing and educating them on important issues facing the local community. VYP meets monthly, connecting entrepreneurs and business professionals with a credible network to help them grow and develop professionally.
Applicants selected to serve on the Board will be responsible for overseeing VYP programming which includes identifying relevant content, timely speakers and new event venues. Those selected will also be asked to utilize their personal and professional relationships to help promote both the work of VYP and the Chamber. You must be a current Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce or VYP member to serve on the VYP Board. Those who are not Chamber members are invited to inquire about membership in order to become eligible.
Board members will serve an initial two-year term, with the option to renew for an additional two years thereafter. Interested applicants can learn more here or download an application below which will be available beginning Tuesday, April 4.
