Valley Young Professionals is a program of the Greater Phoenix Chamber (Chamber), for up-and-coming young professionals in the Valley ages 25-39. The VYP program provides experiences for its members to build lasting relationships, engage in professional development opportunities and become change-makers in the community. The VYP Board members are chosen based on their past involvement in VYP and the vision that they bring to the Board.

Question: What have you gained from your experience as a VYP Board member?

Answer: As a VYP Board member, I have enjoyed getting more involved in the community I call home. Besides spreading the word about all the awesome opportunities for young professionals here in the Valley, I love learning more about the issues facing our community and how we can collectively do to solve them.

Question: What experiences and perspectives do you bring to the board that have been valuable to the Valley Young Professionals group?

Answer: So far in my career, I have been a teacher, an educational consultant, a co-leader of a non-profit and now a business development manager for a recruiting agency.
