Businesswoman Spotlight: Brianna Tavilla

The Milwaukee Brewers are pleased to introduce Brianna Tavilla, Director of Spring Training Business Operations and Community Engagement at American Family Fields of Phoenix. Bri started with the Brewers in 2008 and, through the years, held many different part-time roles during Spring Training. Her career began as a game day staff member assisting with in-game sponsorship activations, promotions, and fan entertainment. After expressing an interest in ticket sales, Bri took on the role of Assistant Box Office Manager in 2013 before being promoted to Manager for the 2014 season.

Bri was hired full-time in 2018 and her roles and responsibilities expanded to sponsorship sales, group sales, ticket office operations, social media engagement, game entertainment, and managing part-time staff. In 2019, she was involved in transitioning the club into the newly renovated complex which immediately drew an additional 40,000 fans to West Phoenix. Since the inception of the new facility, and despite the number of uncertainties with the pandemic, Bri has continually grown revenues each spring, in addition to offering fresh new entertainment options for fans to enjoy.

In 2022, Bri received a promotion and new responsibility of overseeing community outreach initiatives throughout the valley. Since taking on this role, the Brewers have been involved with Habitat for Humanity, St. Mary’s Food Bank, Ronald McDonald House Charities, AZ Humane Society, and many more. In addition to supporting local non-profits, she was instrumental in supporting the Desert West and Maryvale Community Center Little League. Through this support, not only could participants play for just $20, but they were also invited to American Family Fields of Phoenix for on-field clinics with Brewers players, coaches, and staff.

Bri remains committed to growing the success of both business operations and community engagement for the Brewers. Such dedication to supporting local non-profits and growing the game of baseball to area youth landed the Brewers their first nomination for the Greater Phoenix Chamber Community Impact award.  In her free time, she is an active member of Habitat for Humanity as a team lead in training. Bri holds a Bachelor of Communications degree from Arizona State University’s New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences.
