Valley Young Professionals (VYP) announces new leadership, events, and annual nonprofit partnership

The Greater Phoenix Chamber’s Valley Young Professionals (VYP), the premier group for up-and-coming professionals in the Greater Phoenix region, announces new leadership, events, and nonprofit partnership for FY24.

As we head into the new fiscal year, Valley Young Professionals is proud to announce that its nonprofit partner of the year is UMOM New Day Centers. UMOM New Day Centers provides shelter, services, and affordable housing for single women and families experiencing homelessness in the Metro Phoenix area.

Stella O’Rourke, director of philanthropy and special events for the Arizona Coyotes, will serve as the 2023-2024 chair. Brittany Dugan, global cloud programs manager at Intel, will serve as the vice chair.

Upcoming VYP Events:

The VYP Board of Directors is comprised of business leaders between the ages of 25 and 39 who are passionate about community involvement and are actively creating and overseeing a program that helps retain and attract young professionals to the region. The board is responsible for the direction of VYP and helps to identify content, speakers, venues, and community partnerships. Additionally, those selected are asked to utilize their personal and professional relationships to help promote the work of VYP and the Chamber.

“Facilitating the success of young professionals is vital to the future of our economy,” said Todd Sanders, president and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Chamber. “VYP is the Chamber’s tool to connect up-and-coming business leaders, provide growth opportunities, and ensure our young professionals are connected to our community.”
