Phoenix, Ariz. (Jan. 17, 2024) — Phoenix nonprofit St. Joseph the Worker (SJW) is thrilled to announce the much-anticipated 16th Annual feeney/winthrop Benefit Concert in support of its mission to assist unhoused, low-income and other disadvantaged individuals in securing sustainable, quality employment. This extraordinary musical evening will take place on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Tempe Center for the Arts.
In the 2022 fiscal year, SJW reached a pivotal milestone by providing its services to more than 10,000 individuals, a 37% increase over the previous year, and aiding 6,213 individuals in obtaining full-time employment. The average hourly wage for those newly employed is $17.02, with an impressive 81% receiving associated benefits.
Since its establishment in 1988, SJW has helped over 35,000 individuals, in more than 50 ZIP codes across the Valley. Centered on its commitment to work, SJW continues to dispense the resources needed to remove employment barriers and guide clients toward financial success and self-sufficiency.

Admission is $20 per ticket and can be purchased on Eventbrite here. For those wishing to contribute to SJW, SJW is a Qualifying Charitable Organization (QCO) for the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit. Arizona residents can use QCO code: 20248 to receive a dollar-for-dollar Arizona state tax credit of up to $421 for individuals and $841 for couples filing jointly.
