Rocket Mortgage maintains more than 1,100 team members in its Phoenix office who are highly active in the community through volunteering and fundraising initiatives. Last year, Rocket Companies achieved a major milestone by eclipsing one million volunteer hours nationwide.
Additionally, Phoenix team members gave back to the community through the Rocket Companies Community Challenge. The Community Challenge allows team members to nominate local nonprofit organizations for a fundraising competition supported by the Rocket Community Fund.
Team members then fundraise and advocate for the organizations they care about most in their community. In Phoenix, the three most successful nonprofits in the competition were McDowell Sonoran Conserancy, Southwest Human Development and Phoenix Children’s hospital. In total, the Rocket Companies Community Challenge raised more than $1.3 million nationwide.
