The Greater Phoenix Chamber’s ATHENA Awards program recognizes and celebrates the achievements of businesswomen across the Greater Phoenix region. Each year, the Greater Phoenix Chamber’s ATHENA Awards highlight 11 women at the top of their field, who demonstrate inspiring leadership within their industry, mentor women throughout their career, and act as dedicated community servants. Of the 11 finalists, three recipients are selected as ATHENAs. Over the past 37 years, 68 accomplished and compassionate Valley businesswomen have earned the title of ATHENA. Corporate Affairs Manager, Kroger/Fry’s Food Stores
Pam Giannonatti is the Corporate Affairs Manager of Fry’s Food Stores, and one of Fry’s most tenured Associates with a 40-year career. She’s an expert on corporate communications, government and community relations, business development, and leadership, and directs internal comms and PR efforts for all 127 Arizona-based Fry’s locations.
Pam sits on the Advisory Board for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona, is a board member of USO Arizona, and is a community ambassador for the Junior League of Phoenix. Pam works closely with Arizona’s Feeding America food banks in support of Kroger’s Zero Hunger | Zero Waste Foundation.
Jenny Holsman Tetreault

Jenny is a highly respected and innovative legal, business, and community leader with two decades of experience delivering strategic services in law firm, corporate, and non-profit settings. She is the VP and Associate General Counsel at TPI Composites and teaches at ASU School of Law, while mentoring others and serving our community. Simultaneously, she is actively involved with ten nonprofit boards, chairing three. She chaired/co-chaired three large fundraising events over the past year alone. Jenny is a role model and mentor to many people. She mentors younger associates at work. She mentors new board members on five of her nonprofit boards. Her family has been matched with a “Little” through Big Brothers Big Sisters for over two years. She is the co-Leader of her son’s Webelos Troop and the Leader for her daughter’s Brownies Troop.

15 years of elected service to the Goodyear City Council and as an Arizona State Legislator. She serves her industry as a Board Member for the Independent Jewelers Organization and for over a decade has mentored teenagers. Currently, Joanne serves on many boards.

CEO, St. Vincent de Paul
Shannon Clancy is the first woman CEO at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Phoenix, which feeds, clothes, houses and heals Arizonans in need while offering others a chance to serve. She leads 375 employees, who together with volunteers operate a network of food pantries, charity dining rooms, urban farms, shelters, family services and a charity health clinic. Shannon has devoted her 30+ year career to working for nonprofit organizations that serve individuals and families in need. A Phoenix native, she attended Xavier College Preparatory, the University of Notre Dame, and the University of Maryland at College Park.
Angela Hughey
President, ONE Community Foundation
As President of ONE Community and ONE Community Foundation, Angela works with LGBTQ+, business and political communities on issues of diversity, equity, equality and inclusion and their impact on our economy. In 2013, ONE Community launched the UNITY Pledge to advance workplace equality and equal treatment for LGBTQ+ individuals, which has become the nation’s largest equality pledge with more than 3,700 business signers.
In January 2022, ONE Community launched the bipartisan Equality and Fairness for all American Campaign nationwide to advance federal civil rights protections for LGBTQ+ Americans. The coalition is composed of diverse business, LGBTQ+, elected, and faith leaders.
Rosa Inchausti
City Manager, City of Tempe
Rosa Inchausti has served the City of Tempe for 31 years, a time punctuated by many firsts. She was Tempe’s first bilingual marriage and family therapist. As Tempe’s first Diversity Director, she authored the City’s diversity guidelines and worked closely with City Council to pass the state’s first city-chartered Anti-Discrimination Ordinance. As Tempe’s first Strategic Management Director, Rosa crafted the Council Priorities system, which ties the budget to prioritized goals. Rosa pioneered the use of wastewater science during COVID-19, and led the city to achieving Bloomberg Platinum Certification. Rosa currently serves as Tempe’s first female city manager. She has two grown daughters and a six-month old grandson.

Christina Spicer is the co-CEO of Girl Scouts-Arizona Cactus-Pine Council. Spicer is a leader who has devoted two decades of her career to directing critical youth initiatives throughout the community. After graduating from Arizona State with a degree in communications, she joined notMYkid. Shortly after earning her master’s degree from Arizona State, she joined Teach for America, where she led the development team. Spicer is also founder of CAMEO, a women’s mentorship organization. Kate serves as the Vice President of Government Relations for Verra Mobility, an Arizona-based market leader in transportation safety and mobility technology solutions. She leads a team committed to driving state and local policy to make vehicle transportation safer, smarter, and more connected.
Prior to this role, Kate managed state and local advocacy efforts for Honeywell International, based in Phoenix. A third-generation servicewoman, Kate proudly serves in the United States Coast Guard Reserve as a maritime safety and security officer. She ensures federal laws and commercial regulations adequately safeguard the maritime community, secure critical port infrastructure, and uphold environmental protection standards. In Southern California, Kate led the U.S. Coast Guard’s government affairs in emergency operations responses, high-profile search and rescue cases, and activities that protected the Southern maritime border. Initially, she cut her teeth in civil service as a political appointee in President George W. Bush’s Administration.
