PHOENIX (April 14, 2026) – Grab friends, family and a bag of popcorn for a musical tour of the movies. As a celebration of cinema’s most memorable scores, The Phoenix Symphony invites community members of all ages to attend its first-ever “Symphony on Exeter: An Amazing Arcadia Night” from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on April 28 on the front lawn at 6210 E. Exeter Blvd. in Phoenix. This free outdoor concert will feature the Symphony’s world-class brass musicians performing rollicking renditions of film’s most famous melodies, including Disney family favorites and the music of John Williams, composer for beloved classics such as “Star Wars” and “Indiana Jones.”

“Many people are already big fans of symphonic music without realizing it. We’ve all been experiencing extraordinary orchestral music our entire lives through films,” said Peter Kjome, president and CEO of The Phoenix Symphony. “We’re excited to invite movie fans to experience those cinematic moments in a new way, performed live by the brass musicians of our great orchestra.”

The event will be hosted by Jason Rose and Jessica Pacheco, both prominent business owners and community leaders.

As provided seating will be limited, the Symphony welcomes attendees to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Beverages and light bites will be offered, with guests also invited to bring their own food and beverages.

Music lovers can reserve a spot here.

The event is free, with donations welcome. Proceeds will support The Phoenix Symphony’s Crescendo Campaign, targeting to strengthen and expand the symphony’s programs and ensure its long-term financial stability.
