The Office of Economic Opportunity is developing a state-mandated resource that will directly guide Arizona’s High School Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs. The annual “In-Demand Regional Education List” identifies and ranks the top occupations addressing critical economic needs, factoring in wages, job openings, and other labor market factors.
To ensure this list truly reflects the realities and future needs of our industries, OEO urgently needs your direct input. Your perspective is crucial to validating our initial findings and identifying emerging skill gaps that may not be evident through traditional data alone.
We know your time is valuable, but every input and feedback is appreciated, and we have condensed this into a short 5 to 7 minute survey:
- Validating identified in-demand occupations: Do these align with your current and projected hiring needs?
- Forecasting future talent needs: Where do you foresee your greatest talent acquisition challenges?
Your participation will directly:
- Influence educational curriculum: Ensure our graduates are equipped with the skills to meet the business needs and demand.
- Strengthen our state’s talent pipeline: Help bridge the gap between education and employment.
- Contribute to our collective economic prosperity: By ensuring a skilled workforce for sustained growth.
Please click here to complete the survey.
The survey will close on July 24th, 2026, 5 p.m. to allow sufficient time to incorporate your feedback before our state’s required deadline.
Thank you for your leadership and your contribution to shaping a more competitive and skilled workforce for Arizona. If you have questions, please contact labor.info@oeo.az.gov.
