Hospice of the Valley, Arizona’s leading provider of end-of-life care, offers training for volunteers who wish to support patients and caregivers. Our volunteers provide an extra layer of compassion to patients who may be lonely. They also give family caregivers a much-needed break. Other volunteer opportunities support our staff, from helping with administrative duties to working in our thrift stores. We’re a not-for-profit agency, serving Arizona since 1977.
Orientation classes will be held at Hospital of the Valley clinical offices in metro Phoenix.
- 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. May 3, 10 and 11: West Clinical Office, 9435 W. Peoria Ave., Peoria.
- 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. May 29-31: Central Clinical Office, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix.
- 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. June 26-28: Northeast Clinical Office, 16117 N. 76th, Scottsdale.
- 9 a.m.-5 p.m. July 20 and 27: East Clinical Office, 2020 E. Woodside Court, Gilbert
