Day of Tips for Annual Junior League of Phoenix Rummage Sale

The Junior League of Phoenix Annual Rummage Sale is an exciting day of bargain hunting for many shoppers in the Valley. We have many repeat shoppers year after year, including some that have been coming for longer than thirty years! We recently asked our members for the best advice they would give to rummage newbies as they prepare to head to the Arizona Exhibition and State Fair this year. We compiled a list of some of the best tips here for you!

The number one tip we have for shoppers is to arrive early for the best selection! Our doors open at 8 a.m., and admission is $5 until noon. We will take a quick break but get started back at 1 p.m. with free admission and merchandise 50% off. Parking for the day will be at 18^th Avenue & McDowell Road for an $8 fee. You will also want to check the weather to avoid being too hot or cold while shopping!

We expect to have a large crowd, so make a game plan before arriving. You can find all the departments we will have set up on the map below. There will be checkouts on both ends, so make sure to check each side before you stand in a long line! There will also be a limited number of bags at checkout available for $2 each. You are welcome to bring a wagon or bag(s) to carry all your treasures. If you plan on making furniture or large-item purchases, be sure to bring the appropriate transportation as we do not offer pick-up, delivery, or holds.

While you are shopping, you will see volunteers wearing either a red apron or JLP t-shirt that are available to help you with any questions you may have. Remember to be patient and open-minded while you are shopping. There are a ton of people all doing the same thing: looking for amazing bargains while supporting a good cause! займ без отказа
