PHOENIX – The Greater Phoenix Chamber extends our condolences to the Hull family. Governor Jane Hull was a trailblazer and leader for Arizona. As the first female speaker of the Arizona House of Representatives and the first woman elected governor of the Grand Canyon State, Governor Hull was a dedicated public servant who had a lasting legacy on Arizona.
In 2016, the Chamber recognized Governor Hull as its 2016 Community Legacy Honoree. The Community Legacy Honor recognized an outstanding female former elected or public official who has dedicated her work and her life to improving the community, supporting women, and being an exemplary role model for female leadership. Her work and efforts have left a lasting legacy on her community.
