If you are grieving, chances are you are especially vulnerable to outside stressors, such as the uncertainty caused by COVID-19. At 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, Hospice of the Valley will offer a free Zoom presentation to help you cope with the loss of a loved one during this challenging time.
The session will be hosted by Stephen Gardner, a Hospice of the Valley chaplain who supports patients and families, provides one-on-one bereavement counseling, and facilitates grief support groups. He will explain what loss is about, why it is necessary to express grief, and what we can do to help others who are experiencing loss.
This virtual presentation is accessible from the comfort of your office or home and designed to support any adult in our community who may be mourning a death.
