PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) — As we approach Veterans Day, a former soldier shares hope for veterans searching for a job. He turned to a career in construction, where he said companies love hiring those who served our country.

“I think a lot of guys don’t know where to go from there after they’ve completed their service,” said Jacob Xenitelis. Xenitelis spent years in the Army National Guard, discovering it prepared him for a career in construction management.
