The countdown is on for the 35th annual IMPACT Awards when the Chamber celebrates businesses making an impact in the Greater Phoenix region. With a long history of honoring Arizona’s businesses, the Greater Phoenix Chamber’s IMPACT Awards has become the premier program highlighting the great work companies are doing to keep our economy thriving. From companies that are innovating, and pushing their industry forward to companies that have embedded their employees into the fabric of the local community, we proudly recognize nine finalists and three companies in each sector as Business of the Year.
Over the course of the pandemic, while other states struggled through economic unrest, Arizona found ways to rise above the challenges and thrive. This is, in large part, due to the strength of local businesses. We saw companies develop new ways of doing business to keep Arizonans healthy and working. The ongoing efforts to diversify our state’s economy continue to pay off–and we get to celebrate the resilient businesses that have made that happen.
The decision of which companies will be named as recipients of Business of the Year is never easy. We are fortunate to have a robust group of past recipients and community volunteers who serve on the IMPACT Awards selection committee to review applications, interview semi-finalists, and determine the award finalists and recipients. After two years of hosting the IMPACT Awards in a virtual format, I am thrilled to be back in person, allowing you all the opportunity to join us and connect with these outstanding community leaders.
The IMPACT Awards create a platform for our business community to collaborate and celebrate excellence in business. The program and main event also foster community connections and partnerships across different industries and business sizes. I am privileged to meet and further understand this year’s nine business finalists that are on the ground putting Arizonans to work, supporting community initiatives, promoting economic prosperity, and moving our region forward. Whether you recognize some of these businesses or may just be meeting for the first time, I know you’ll be impressed!
