Greater Phoenix Chamber statement on 5% Tariffs against goods from Mexico
PHOENIX – The Greater Phoenix Chamber stands in opposition of the recently announced 5% tariff on goods coming into our country from Mexico. Immigration policy and trade policy should be kept separate from one another, and neither should negatively impact trade relationships with Arizona’s top trading partner. In order to ensure our economy continues to thrive, we call for the Administration to end this dispute immediately and work with Congress on long overdue, immigration reform on a bipartisan basis.
