The Greater Phoenix Chamber Foundation (the Foundation), through its Wellness AtoZ initiative, invites Arizonans to go outdoors and get active to celebrate Wellness AtoZ Day, May 15, 2022.
“It’s vital that businesses have the resources to support their employees’ health and wellness goals,” said Jennifer Mellor, Chief Innovation Officer, Greater Phoenix Chamber Foundation. “Through Wellness AtoZ, the Foundation provides tools to businesses of all sizes and creates a platform for health focused, community engagement that is open and accessible to all Arizonans.”
Wellness AtoZ Day, which has been recognized by the State of Arizona and Governor Doug Ducey, is a day to acknowledge the positive health and wellness opportunities that Arizona has to offer. On this day, we celebrate physical activity and healthy lifestyles. We encourage everyone to get their hearts pumping by exploring the breathtaking beauty of Arizona’s desert.
Wellness AtoZ Day celebrates the anniversary of the Wellness AtoZ initiative launched in 2017. It also signifies the completion of the spring activity challenge, the Wellness Wonders of AZ.
The Wellness Wonders of AZ showcases Arizona’s unique features while inspiring everyone to participate in easy and accessible activities. With over 5,500 participants in 2019, the Wellness Wonders of AZ Spring Challenge brings together fun and healthy activities that business owners and their employees can do with their families and colleagues, and even challenge other companies to a little healthy competition.
People who participate in the Wellness Wonders of AZ by Wellness AtoZ Day on May 15th have a chance to win great prizes! The Foundation will offer prizes including swag bags, state park passes, and more!
How can you participate in Wellness AtoZ Day?
1. Participate in the Spring Wellness Wonders of Arizona by filling out the participation form to let us know which activities you’ll be doing individually or with your family this Spring.
2. Register for Wellness AtoZ Day at Encanto Park on May 15th.
3. Tag @GoWellnessAtoZ in your social media posts for the Spring Wellness Wonders of Arizona and Wellness AtoZ Day using the hashtag #WellnessAtoZDay2022
4. Have fun celebrating health and wellness!

Wellness AtoZ Day is a free event and open to Wellness AtoZ employers and the community. English and Spanish wellness resources will be provided to attendees.
